I had such a positive experience yesterday, 2/20/25, I felt the need to post it. Let me start with how great the store looks. It is so neatly organized and clean. The produce is displayed so beautifully. The customer service was on point. I had an interaction with the Store Manager, Will. He was very knowledgeable. I needed help finding Tahini and he knew exactly which aisle it was on without batting an eye. That was very impressive. Everyone else was also very friendly and helpful. Thank you! Stater Bros. you always go above and beyond.
The meat and produce at Stater Brothers are always super fresh. The butchers really know their stuff. And the prices on everything are pretty reasonable. All of the employees and courteous and competent. However I have to single out Jillian, one of the cashiers who often works nights. She is so lovely, sweet, happy, a ray of sunshine. She makes wonderful conversation and genuinely loves to talk to people. She can make anybody's day.
I've shopped with Staters for many years, especially since I'm a former employee. I typically get good customer service and not because I used to work for them (because they don't know me at this location). Today though I received exceptional customer service in the meat department. I don't buy it anywhere else so this is why it really stood out. I was getting ground beef from the counter and then decided to also get tritip since it was on sale. I told the meat clerk what I needed and he weighed several roasts to try to get the pounds I needed. He couldn't get the weight so he suggested I check the self service case. I started to walk over there and he walked over there with me to help me find exactly what I needed and we did. Thank you Sergio for your excellent service.
I had a great experience with someone working at the deli counter last week. I waited a while to place my order and the woman who was working was so kind to give me a sample of deli meat and cheese, as I had waited so long.
Still a wonderful shopping experience every time I shop there. One of the best attributes is their "clearance/damaged" goods shelf at the back of the store at the end of the first aisle. I've bought hundreds of dented canned goods and cases of close-out beverages/wines and they're always great.
